Latrobe City Roller Derby, Moe 3825

Gippsland's only competing Roller Derby League.

Latrobe City Roller Derby (LCRD) was formed in July 2010 via a Facebook group looking for interested participants who just wanted to attempt to roller skate. By Christmas that same year the skaters achieved their ‘white star’ with the help of Melbourne leagues.

The league has developed into a community of dedicated skaters, dynamic trainers and enthusiastic NSO's. LCRD is an exciting group of people stretching from all over Gippsland and Eastern Melbourne.

There’s nothing quite like a group of skating friends coming together twice a week to hit each other….with love!

LCRD are affiliated with Skate Victoria, and train out of Stadium 34, at 34 Bell St, Moe.

We follow the rules of Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), as do all other leagues within Australia.

In accordance with WFTDA, we assess our skaters using the Star system, as do most roller derby leagues within Australia and the United States.
LCRD is an incorporated league, and has a fully functioning volunteer committee.
